PLASBLAK® PS6310 by Cabot is a polystyrene (PS) carrier-based black masterbatch containing carbon black. It exhibits low surface activity to reduce interference with other additives to deliver more optimal performance.
- It enhances thermal insulation performance by up to 20% and reduces thermal conductivity by absorbing infrared (IR) radiation.
- It is suitable with GPPS.
- It is designed for ease of dilution and homogeneous mixing and is therefore suitable for direct addition using automatic dosing units or by pre-blending.
- It is used in expandable polystyrene (EPS) foams.
- It has an additional dosage of 12.5-15% masterbatch.
- PLASBLAK® PS6310 has a shelf life of 1 year.
