PLASBLAK® PS4256 by Cabot is a carbon black pigment masterbatch with PS as carrier resin. It is compatible with PS, HIPS, ABS and SAN. It is designed for ease of dilution and homogeneous mixing and is therefore suitable for direct addition using automatic dosing units or by pre-blending. It is applicable in a wide range of applications including injection molding, sheet extrusion, vacuum forming processes, compounding and recycling. It is used in gardening products and household wares. It is suitable for plastics that come into contact with food. The amount of masterbatch added depends on the performance requirements of the final application. It has an additional dosage of 3-4% of masterbatch. PLASBLAK® PS4256 has a shelf life of 1 year.
