PLASBLAK® PE1371 by Cabot is a P-type carbon black pigment masterbatch with LDPE as carrier polymer. It is compatible with LLDPE, HDPE, PP and ethylene copolymers. It is designed for ease of dilution and homogeneous mixing and is therefore suitable for direct addition using automatic dosing units or by pre-blending. It is suitable for high quality packaging film and agricultural film, requiring maximum protection against UV light degradation. It is also applicable in general extrusion, molding and cable sheathing applications as well as for plastics that come into contact with food. The amount of masterbatch added depends on the performance requirements of the final application. It has an addition rate of 2% to 7%. PLASBLAK® PE1371 has a shelf life of 1 year.
