SCONA® TSPOE 1002 CMB 1-2 by BYK is a high impact strength modifier for polyamide 6, polyamide 12 & polyamide 6.6 and PET. It is ethylene octen copolymer functionalized with maleic anhydride. It significantly increases low-temperature impact strength in polyamides and improves notch impact strength & tear resistance for PET. It is suitable for lighter compounds as well due to its low yellowness index. The recommended level is 3-15% for polyamide and 6-18% for PET. SCONA® TSPOE 1002 CMB 1-2 is listed in EINECS, TSCA, DSL, AICS, PICCS, IECSC, ENCS, NZIoC and ECSI. It is in line with EU Directive 2011/65/EC (RoHS 2), EU Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE), EU Directive 94/62/EC (Packaging Waste) and CONEG Toxics in Packaging. It complies with REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006. The shelf life of this product is 36 months.
