SCONA TPPE 1102 GALL

SCONA TPPE 1102 GALL by BYK acts as a dispersing aid for polyethylene/filler composites (e.g. aluminiumtrihydroxide), compatibilizer for blends of polyethylene & polar polymers such as polyamides and ethylene vinyl alcohol. It also acts as coupling agent for polyethylene wood and glass fiber compounds. It ensures superior adhesion to the matrix.

• It improves the dispersion of the polar polymer resulting in better mechanical and optical properties of the compatibilized material.
• It is a high-performance polymeric modifier based on polyethylene (LLDPE) functionalized with maleic anhydride.
• Recommended dosage level as compatibilizer is 5-30% additive based upon the polyethylene content in polymeric blends, 2-4% additive as coupling agent and 2-4% additive as dispersing aid based upon the total formulation, depending on fiber/filler content.
• Complies with (EU) No. 10/2011 and China GB 9685-2016.
• Shelf life of SCONA TPPE 1102 GALL is 36 months.
