Compoline® R PL

Supplied byBrüggemann- Last Updated on Dec 8, 2022

Compoline® R PL by Brüggemann acts as a compatibilizer in post-consumer plastic flow. It is a polyethylene blend grafted with maleic anhydride. It is used to well homogenize all the polar impurities such as ethylene vinyl alcohol (EvOH), polyamide (PA) & polyethylene terephthalate (PET) in the polyolefins flows. It can be readily employed in conventional polyethylene extrusion lines with no special caution, providing excellent processability and thermal stability. Compoline® R PL retains the physical properties of polyolefins, including chemical & heat resistance, clarity, dimensional stability, mechanical strength, and recyclability. It avoids swelling and bad mechanics due to impurities of polar polymers in polyolefin streams. It also recovers the weldability of the final compound, for example, when PP is present into a PE flow. It has a shelf life of 2 years.
