BRUGGOLEN® H175 by Brüggemann is a synergistic mixture of phosphonates and sterically hindered phenolic antioxidants. Acts as a highly efficient non-discoloring antioxidant and heat stabilizer. Exhibits efficient process stabilization against yellowing and degradation, best protection of organic pigments against discoloration at high processing temperatures up to approx. 320°C, low volatility during processing, excellent compatibility and low extractability. Offers long term protection of bright colored polyamides against yellowing under aggressive conditions (heat, moisture, chemicals), high efficiency especially in glass-fiber reinforced or mineral-filled polyamides, excellent protection to the finished parts against embrittlement and premature fatigue of mechanical properties under aggressive conditions, both in unreinforced as well as reinforced and filled polymers. Provides long term heat stability in applications up to 150°C. BRUGGOLEN® H175 is compatible with polyamides (PA6, PA6.6, PA11, PA12, PA–copolymers), but also in other thermoplastics such as polyesters (PET, PBT), polycarbonates (PC) and their blends, styrenics (PS, ABS, SAN) and polypropylene (PP). It can be processed using extrusion, dry blending and injection molding. Recommended dosage is 0.2-0.6%. Shelf life is at least 12 months.
