BRUGGOLEN® H164

BRUGGOLEN® H164 by Brüggemann is a non-discoloring antioxidant and heat stabilizer. It is a synergistic mixture of sterically hindered phenolic antioxidants and phosphonates in powder form. Provides long term heat stability in applications up to 150°C, efficient process stabilization against yellowing and degradation. Exhibits low volatility during processing, no deposits (‘plate-out’) on the finished parts after conditioning, excellent compatibility and low extractability. It offers long term protection of bright colored polymers against yellowing, excellent protection against embrittlement and premature fatigue of the mechanical properties of the finished parts under long term stress, both in unreinforced and glass-fiber reinforced or mineral-filled polymers. BRUGGOLEN® H164 is compatible with all polyamides (PA6, PA6.6, PA11, PA12, PA–Copolymers). It can be processed using extrusion, dry blending and injection molding. Recommended dosage is 0.2-0.8%, depending on the polyamide and the desired properties of the finished parts. Shelf life of BRUGGOLEN® H164 is at least 12 months.
