TYTAN™ AQ5000 by Borica is an aqueous titanium chelate. Acts as a water soluble catalyst. Provides increased thermal stability, lower odor & color (due to better reaction selectivity), lower cycle time, no heavy metal omission of product washing and very low COD to production effluent in comparison to tin catalysts. Offers easy removal through hydrolysis & lower filtration time, easy recycling of excessive ester or alcohol and higher efficiency. TYTAN™ AQ5000 by Borica is used in esterification of polyesters like polyethylene terephthalate (PET), PPT and polybutylene terephthalate (PBT).
