Queo™ 8230 by Borealis is an ethylene based octene-1 elastomer. It is an impact modifier for polypropylene (PP). Exhibits outstanding toughness, puncture resistance and low temperature impact strength.
  • It is produced in a solution polymerisation process using a metallocene catalyst.
  • Offers high filler and oil acceptance.
  • It contains a low amount of processing stabilizers.
  • It can be processed by extrusion and rotational molding.
  • Queo™ 8230 is suitable for automotive PP compounds and for producing halogen free flame retardant compounds.
