Queo™ 8201 by Borealis is an ethylene based octene-1 elastomer. It is an impact modifier for polypropylene (PP). Exhibits low temperature impact strength, outstanding toughness and puncture resistance. Offers high clarity and low temperature flex-cracking and impact resistance.
  • Shows high filler and oil acceptance.
  • It is produced in a solution polymerization process using a metallocene catalyst.
  • It contains processing stabilizers.
  • Can be processed by blow molding.
  • Shows versatile blending with other polyolefins in film, extrusion and molding applications.
  • Queo™ 8201 is recommended for roof covering, tunnel linings, soft foams (e.g. artificial wine corks), flexible low voltage insulation, specialty stretch film, high strength flexible films & cling film applications and for noise reduction in automotive applications.
  • Suitable for producing halogen free flame retardant compounds.
