Queo™ 6800LA by Borealis is an ethylene based octene-1 elastomer. It is an impact modifier for polypropylene (PP). It is produced in a solution polymerisation process using a metallocene catalyst. Exhibits high strength, clarity, high flexibility, surface softness and low peak melting point.
- It contains a low amount of processing stabilizers. Can be processed by extrusion.
- Shows versatile blending with other polyolefins in film, extrusion and molding applications.
- Queo™ 6800LA is recommended for surface protection film, stretch hood & cling film applications and for noise reduction in automotive applications.
- Suitable for producing halogen free flame retardant compounds.
