Chemical foaming agent. Characterized by endothermic decomposition beginning @ 145°C. Used for applications where maximum density reduction is required. It is ideal for low pressure injection molding, and structural foam molding. Maximum gas yields are achieved when processing temperatures of 175- 215°C ( 347-419°F) are reached. Extrusion usage level is 0.25- 1.0% . Usage level of injection molding for cell size control is 0.25- 0.75% and for chemical foam 0.25- 1.0% .
