Irganox® 1726

Irganox® 1726 by BASF is a multifunctional phenolic antioxidant. It is a light- & heat stable, non-staining, non-discoloring, low volatility and extraction resistant grade. It also acts as a thermo-oxidative stabilizer for elastomers (natural rubber, chloroprene rubber, SBR). Irganox® 1726 is also suitable for the stabilization of block-copolymers such as SBS, SIS and for polyurethane products. It effectively protects the substrate against thermo-oxidative degradation. It can be used with other additives such as primary or secondary antioxidants, carbon center radicals (benzofuranones, acrylates, Vitamin E), light stabilizers as well as other functional stabilizers & fillers. The recommended usage level is 0.1-1.0%.
