Irganox® 1076 FD BMBcert™ by BASF is a biomass balanced, highly efficient, sterically hindered phenolic primary antioxidant with reduced carbon footprint of upto 60%. It contributes to sustainable development by saving fossil resources, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and advancing the use of renewable feedstock.
  • It provides processing and long-term thermal stabilization.
  • It is odorless, stable to light and has excellent color retention.
  • It protects the substrates against thermo-oxidative degradation.
  • It exhibits good compatibility with most substrates, low volatility, and high resistance to extraction.
  • It is suitable for polyolefin, polyurethane, polyethylene, polypropylene and polybutene-1, styrene homo- & copolymers, engineering plastics and elastomer applications.
  • Recommended dosage rate is 0.05-0.2% for polymer, 0.1-0.4% for polyolefin, and 0.1-0.3% for styrene homo- and copolymers.
  • It is a drop-in replacement for Irganox® 1076.
  • Irganox® 1076 FD BMBcert™ is certified by TÜV Nord for mass balance according to the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC PLUS).
