BASF 4-Hydroxybutyl Acrylate (4-HBA) by BASF is an acrylate monomer. It forms homopolymers and copolymers. It exhibits low VOC, scratch resistance, adhesion, crosslinking, weatherability and rheology modifier properties. Copolymers of this grade are prepared with acrylic acid and its salts, amides and esters as well as with methacrylates, acrylonitrile, maleic acid esters, vinyl acetate, vinyl chloride, vinylidene chloride, styrene, butadiene, unsaturated polyesters and drying oils. It is readily undergoes addition reactions with a wide variety of organic and inorganic compounds. BASF 4-Hydroxybutyl Acrylate (4-HBA) is used in the manufacturing of polymers. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
