Baerostab OM 36

Baerostab OM 36 by Baerlocher is a octyl tin mercaptopropionate. In combination with liquid tin or cadmium (Cd) and lead (Pb) free mixed metal stabilizers, it functions as a thermal stabilizer or co-stabilizer (booster). It is a very effective PVC stabilizer. It is especially recommended for the stabilization of stiff PVC and its alloys with other thermoplastic polymers when the resulting product's exceptional mechanical qualities and high heat distortion temperatures are critical.

• With minimal addition amounts of Baerostab OM 36 transparent and pigmented items with vicat temperatures above 80°C can be extruded or molded.
• It is especially excellent for calendering sheets that require very good printability, even after storage, such as credit card sheets.
• It has a dose rate of 0.7-1.2 phr.
• Baerostab OM 36 is registered under FDA (Food and Drug Administration) and EU2002/72.
