ColorMatrix™ AAnchor™

ColorMatrix™ AAnchor™ by Avient (Formerly PolyOne) is a scavanger additive designed for PET and rPET preforms in food and beverage packaging. It is based on acetaldehyde control technology. It offers enhanced processability, recyclability, excellent bottle aesthetics and mechanical strength. It has a very low tendency for migration, thereby reducing the risk of exceeding regulatory limits, even in closed-loop recycling systems and does not form primary aromatic amines.

• It improves the productivity as it helps to reduce the down time.
• It can effectively reduce acetaldehyde levels in PET preforms, which results in improved taste, odor control and extending the shelf life of the packaged products.
• Due to improved thermal stability it will not sublime and cause mold deposition unlike ATA-based AA scavengers.
• It is compatible with extrusion and injection molding processes for both EBM and ISBM.
