avanZnO bac-(PP) MB

avanZnO bac-(PP) MB by Avanzare Innovacion Tecnologica is a powerful anti-microbial masterbatch. It is based on ZnO functionalized particles together with zinc pyrithione and piridine-2-thiol 1- oxide, sodium salt dispersed in PP.

• In silver+ version these two substances are doped with silver ions.
• It is highly efficient in bactericide and fungi elimination.
• As it this solution does not migrate to the surface, it does not lose activity over the time.
• It is thermally stable upto 225 ºC and is suitable for extrusion process below this temperature.
• avanZnO bac-(PP) MB is capable of tolerating up to 20 washes without losing its properties in resins.
• Suitable for injection or extrusion of PE.
• Recommended dosage level is 2-3%. Comply with the European Union Directive (CE) NO 1048/2005 of 13th June 2005 and the Directive (CE) nº 528/2012, that regulate biocide application in the industry.
