avanZnO bac-(PE) MB

avanZnO bac-(PE) MB by Avanzare Innovacion Tecnologica is a powerful anti-microbial masterbatch. It is based on ZnO functionalized particles together with zinc pyrithione and piridine-2-thiol 1- oxide, sodium salt dispersed in PE. In silver+ version these two substances are doped with silver ions. It is highly efficient in bactericide and fungi elimination. As it this solution does not migrate to the surface, it does not lose activity over the time. It is thermally stable upto 225 ºC and is suitable for extrusion process below this temperature. It is capable of tolerating up to 20 washes without losing its properties in resins. Suitable for injection or extrusion of PE. Recommended dosage level is 2-3%. avanZnO bac-(PE) MB complies with the European Union Directive (CE) NO 1048/2005 of 13th June 2005 and the Directive (CE) nº 528/2012, that regulate biocide application in the industry.
