Plastistrength® 559 by Arkema is a medium-high molecular weight acrylic processing aid. Provides enhanced fusion and melt strength.
- Used in both compact and foamed sheets.
- Suitable for all PVC profiles and sheets produced by extrusion, especially when stabilized through Ca/ Zn (calcium/ zinc) systems.
- Recommended dosage of Plastistrength® 559 is between 0.5 and 1.5 phr (except in foam where it is from 6 to 10 phr).
