Plastistrength® 551

Plastistrength® 551 by Arkema is a medium molecular weight acrylic processing aid for rigid and flexible vinyl compounds. It imparts excellent melt strength to vinyl formulation during processing. Generates even control over fusion at reduced use levels for ease of processing and maximum development of physical properties. Used in vinyl siding, profile, pipe & fittings, calendered sheet, blow molded bottles and exterior PVC building products. Plastistrength® 551 is commonly used in PVC formulations for food or pharmaceutical packaging.
