Plastistrength® 550

Plastistrength® 550 by Arkema is a medium molecular-weight acrylic processing aid. Provides enhanced processability to most rigid and flexible vinyl compounds where better physical properties are desired.

• It imparts good hot melt strength to vinyl formulations during processing while minimizing die swell.
• It is widely used in exterior PVC building products where good weathering performance is critical.
• Suitable for window profile, siding, pipe, automotive interior trim parts, injection molded articles, calendered sheet, blow-molded bottles and where enhanced fusion and processability are required.
• Plastistrength® 550 is commonly used in PVC formulations for food or pharmaceutical packaging.
