Plastistrength® 379 by Arkema is a high molecular weight acrylic processing aid. It provides the melt strength required to lower density, maintain consistent cellular structure in vinyl foam formulations and rheology for foamed profile extrusion and thin foamed sheet applications.
- It allows dosage reduction as high as 20% versus traditional foam process aid technology.
- Plastistrength® 379 is suitable for PVC foam profiles and celuka processes for foamed profiles like molding, foam core pipe extrusion.
