Clearstrength® XT151

Clearstrength® XT151 by Arkema is a methylmethacrylate-butadiene-styrene (MBS) core-shell, high performance toughening agent designed for epoxy thermosetting resins. It has low viscosity and excellent processability at cold temperatures, enabling energy savings and broad compatibility with a wide range of epoxy formulations.

• Optimized for the most demanding applications matching low-temperature requirements.
• It can be dispersed in epoxy preferably with a medium shear mixer in temperature.
• With standard anchor blade homogenization, dilution of high core shell content preparation can be achieved.
• It yields superior toughness and shear adhesion strength than standard MBS powder in high Tg epoxy.
• Clearstrength® XT151 can be advantageously used to replace standard core/shell modifier powders but also liquid masterbatches of pre-dispersed core/shell particles.
