Clearstrength® XT100

Clearstrength® XT100 by Arkema is a high performance toughening agent designed for thermosetting resins. It is methylmethacrylate-butadiene-styrene (MBS) core-shell optomized for (meth)acrylics, epoxies, and polyesters.

• It has low viscosity and excellent processability at low temperatures, enabling energy savings and broad compatibility with a wide range of monomers.
• It is easily dispersible in most liquid resin systems at very low shear rates and exhibits a limited impact on their viscosity.
• It yields superior toughness and shear adhesion strength in high Tg epoxy (Tg>200°C) than standard MBS powder.
• Clearstrength® XT100 can be advantageously used to replace standard core/shell modifier powders but also liquid masterbatches of pre-dispersed core/shell particles.
