ScratchShield™ PET 7000076-E by Ampacet is a two-in-one solution providing antiscratch protection as well as slip properties for polyethylene terephthalate (PET) preforms and bottles. It is designed for blow molding processes. It restructures the surface of PET plastics, preventing crack propagation to limit whitening and hazing effects caused by abrasion. It also significantly decreases the coefficient of friction (COF) of PET during preform production, handling and transport. ScratchShield™ PET 7000076-E significantly improves scuff resistance of preforms during conveyor belt handling.
