SINGLE PIGMENT DISPERSIONS (SPDs)

SINGLE PIGMENT DISPERSIONS (SPDs) are available in the form of colored or natural pellets. They contribute to a cleaner environment by removing dust from the manufacturing process, resulting in a faster color and product change over, a reduction in clean-up time of blenders and processing lines, and reduced overall losses. This yields an overall reduced cost-to-color for each process. They also reduce or eliminate the need for online color tries, replacing that time with manufactured product. SPD’s reduce stock levels of incoming raw materials compared to pre-color, and improve color rotation through flexible compounding. They can be developed for almost any thermoplastics resin and customer application, including extrusion, molding, fiber extrusion, film and sheet.
