PLENACT™ 46B by Ajinomoto acts as a coupling agent. It is recommended for improvement of mechanical properties including flexibility, flowability of composite materials. It is highly compatible with various solvents and resins, improves wettability with fillers and adherends. Modifying the inorganic filler surface with it improves the affinity with the organic matrix. It bonds chemically to the surface of inorganic materials at room temperature to form an organic film. PLENACT™ 46B is used for improvement of filler dispersion and adhesion to various engineering plastics.
