PLENACT™ 38S by Ajinomoto acts as a coupling agent. It is suitable for improvement of mechanical properties including flexibility, flowability of composite materials. Modifying the inorganic filler surface with it improves the affinity with the organic matrix. It is highly compatible with various solvents and resins, improves wettability with fillers and adherends. It bonds chemically to the surface of inorganic materials at room temperature to form an organic film. PLENACT™ 38S is used for improvement of filler dispersion and adhesion to various engineering plastics.
