AJICURE™ MY-24 by Ajinomoto acts as a curing agent and accelerator for acid anhydride. It is an amine adduct-based, non-flammable, non-ignitable and non-volatile grade. It has high adhesive strength, promotes and accelerates polymerization of epoxides at elevated temperature (over 80°C) with exothermic reaction.
- It is used to create one-component epoxy resin compounds with superior curing properties and long shelf life.
- It has applications in composite materials such as filament winding.
- Recommended usage of AJICURE™ MY-24 is 15-25 phr as a hardener and 1-5 phr as an accelerator with a liquid epoxy resin (EEW 190).
- It has a shelf life of 3 months.
