CO₂nverge® Polyol CPX-2012-112

CO₂nverge® Polyol CPX-2012-112 by Aether Industries is an innovative, high performance polyol for a variety of polyurethane systems. It is used in the preparation of elastomers and TPU's. It is an amorphous, hydroxyl terminated diol produced from propylene oxide and carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide accounts for approximately 40% of the polyol mass.

• It can improve hydrolytic stability, UV resistance, mechanical strength and toughness.
• Formulations using CO₂nverge® Polyol CPX-2012-112 will provide adhesives with superior strength on a variety of substrates including PVC, wood, polycarbonate, and aluminum.
• It shows excellent compatibility with polyester polyols and low to moderate compatibility with polyether polyol.
• It is compatible with isocyanates, chain extenders, surfactants and catalysts used in standard polyurethane systems.
• CO₂nverge® Polyol CPX-2012-112 has REACH monomer registrations in the European Union and is registered in Taiwan.
