Supplied by3V Sigma- Last Updated on Jul 15, 2022

Alvinox 176 by 3V Sigma is a sterically hindered phenolic anti-oxidant for organic and polymeric substrates. It has medium molecular weight and reacts efficiently with peroxy radicals and slows down the chain reaction process that facilitates thermal oxidation. Exhibits long term heat stabilization, low volatility and high processing. It shows compatibility and synergism with broad range of additives. Used with co-stabilizers and light stabilizers. Also used for for polyethylene and styrenics based applications. The recommended dosage level of Alvinox 176 is 0.05 to 0.50%. It is added at 0.025-0.10% in polyethylene (LDPE, LLDPE & HDPE) and 0.025-0.50% in styrenics.
