Dynamar™ FX 5166 by 3M is fluorocarbon elastomer. Used as cure accelerator in polyepichlorohydrin elastomers. Used to adhere incorporated cure Dyneon™ fluoroelastomers and Dyneon™ THV fluorothermoplastics without the use of an external bonding agent for veneer fuel hose constructions and to adhere nitrile rubber compounds. Dynamar™ FX 5166 provides excellent scorch resistance, significant rheological flexibility, good heat aging and compression set resistance.
