CHARGUARD™ 2000 by Elementis is an organically modified mineral thickener. It is suitable for suitable for compounding in combination with fire retardants in low to intermediate polarity thermoplastic resin systems. It does not contain intentionally added per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).

• It enhances the effectiveness of non-halogenated and halogenated fire retardants by delaying the combustion process and stopping the spread of molten flame drip.
• It creates char layer oxygen barrier which is non-flammable and reduces the availability of combustible gases generated during thermal decomposition.
• It reduces the amount of smoke produced in a fire, which is a significant factor in improving fire safety and survivability.
• It is suitable for halogen-free flame retardant thermoplastic compounds such as ethylene-vinyl acetate co-polymer (EVA), low density polyethylene (LDPE), high impact styrene (HIPS), polypropylene (PP), polyamide (nylon 6) and polylactic acid (PLA).
• Recommended dosage level is 3.5%-5% as supplied based on total formulation weight.
• CHARGUARD™ 2000 has a shelf life of 4 years.

CHARGUARD™ 1000 by Elementis is an off-white organically modified mineral thickener. It is suitable for thermoplastic melt extrusion compounding applications in combination with non-halogenated fire retardants. It does not contain intentionally added per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).

BRUGGOLEN® M1251 by Brüggemann is a highly reactive chain extender based on modified polyamide. It provides increased melt viscosity, improved impact strength and increased elongation at break in glass reinforced polyamides. It offers regeneration and transformation of polyamide fiber waste to higher quality extrusion grades, applicable for common technical parts at much lower price levels. It possess no influence on the homogeneity of the polyamide melt and no formation of gel structures. It is suitable for processing by injection molding and compounding on twin screw extrusion machines. The dosage level of the grade is 0.5-2.0%, depending on the basic polyamide and the desired properties of the finished parts. The shelf life of BRUGGOLEN® M1251 is 12 months under (sealed, dry, 25°C) conditions.

BRUGGOLEN® M1417 by Brüggemann is an efficient chain breaking agent. It acts as chain modifier for polyamides. It effects a controlled shortening of molecule chains of high-viscosity polyamide scrap, e.g. from fiber production. It allows defined and reproducible adjustment of target viscosities and thus the upcycling into material for injection molding applications with flow properties and mechanical performance comparable to that of virgin material. It is suitable for the recycling of polyamide waste in form of polymeric granules. It is recommended for higher quality grade typically used for molding technical parts. BRUGGOLEN® M1417 provides cost advantage as waste material can be used. It is used for compounding on twin screw extrusion machines. The dosage level of the grade is 1.0-3.0%, depending on the polyamide source and the desired properties of the finished parts. The shelf life of the product is 12 months under (sealed, dry, 25°C) conditions.

RHEOSOLVE™ T 637 distributed by DKSH is an acrylic thickener in aqueous dispersion for the household, industrial and institutional detergent industry. It provides a versatile thickening efficiency. It is easy to use and provides instantaneous thickening effect.

• Recommended addition level is 0.5-5%.
• It has a shelf life of 6 months.
• RHEOSOLVE™ T 637 is available in Canada.

VM-r050 by Milliken is a solid concentrate which increases the melt flow rate of pre- and post-consumer recycled polypropylene (rPP) in a very cost-effective manner.

• It shortens the material’s average molecular chain length, resulting in an easier, more consistent flow, while allowing for precise dosing and dust-free handling.
• It offers improved properties for use in a wider range of applications.
• VM-r050 lowers molding processing temperatures, which can significantly reduce cycle times and increase productivity.
• It has a shelf life of 12 months.

DeltaMax® f500 by Milliken is an all-purpose modifier designed for use in injection molding applications. It offers improved impact properties while maintaining stiffness and increased melt flow to improve processing.

• It is suitable for polypropylene (PP) impact copolymers and recycled polypropylene (rPP) resins.
• DeltaMax® f500 offers additional benefit of being colorless.
• It can be added machine side at the feed throat or hopper between 0.5% - 1.5%.
• The shelf life of the product is 12 months when stored below 40°C.

REGRATEX MB-D by Greenchemicals is an intrinsic viscosity enhancer, chain extender, regrader and re-polymerizating agent, through the extrusion process. It also acts as a processing aid.

• It increases the viscosity of polymers, improves the mechanical properties and increases the pressure on the extruder die when compounded into polyesters.
• It is suitable for PET transparent such as bottles, films, sheets and straps.
• Recommended dosage level of REGRATEX MB-D is 0.1 to 1%.

WALOCEL™ M 20678 distributed by DKSH is a hydroxyethyl methyl cellulose (HEMC)-based rheology modifier/thickener.

• It imparts well-balanced properties like open time, adhesion and shear strength.
• It also imparts good workability and enhances water retention.
• The selected particle size distribution guarantees quick or lump free dissolution.
• It is recommended for polymers and is compatible with all conventional mineral and organic binders.
• WALOCEL™ M 20678 is available in Canada.

VM-r105 by Milliken is a solid concentrate for viscosity modification of polypropylene (PP). It is designed to increase the melt flow rate in a very cost-effective manner.

• It shortens the material’s average molecule chain length, resulting in an easier, more consistent flow.
• It offers improved processability, and lowers molding processing temperatures, which can significantly reduce cycle times and increase productivity.
• It allows for precise dosing, easy & dust-free handling, and can be stored under standard warehouse conditions.
• VM-r105 is suitable for use in resin production, compounding, injection molding and extrusion.
• The low volatiles content originating from peroxide decomposition products, forms no acetone and no tert-butanol.
• It has a shelf life of 12 months.
