Plasticizers for Plastic Compounds

POLYVEST® 130 distributed by DKSH is a plasticizer for rubber compounds. It acts as a modifier of resin systems and as a release agent for polyurethane foams. It is a non-functionalized, stereospecific, low viscous and unsaponifiable liquid polybutadiene grade. It has a high content of 1,4-cis double bonds including 1,4-cis double bonds (approx. 77%), 1,4-trans double bonds (approx. 22%) and 1,2-vinyl double bonds (approx. 1%).

• It is an apolar, hydrophobic hydrocarbon resin and a highly reactive binder.
• It exhibits high electrical insulation properties as well as high chemical-, water- & cold resistance.
• It shows good compatibility with hydrocarbon resins, rosin resins and zinc resonates.
• It offers good solubility in aliphatic, aromatics and ethers.
• It is suitable for polymer printing plates, chlorinated rubber synthesis, and recycled rubber compounds.
• It has a shelf life of one year.

Luna-cizer DINP distributed by DKSH is a general-purpose plasticizer. It is designed for PVC and polystyrene. It is suitable for rubber and plastic applications. It has a shelf life of 12 months. Luna-cizer DINP is available in Canada and USA.

Doverguard E-35 by Dover Chemical (ICC Industries) is a biodegradable patented chlorinated ester. Acts as a secondary flame retardant plasticizer in PVC applications. It is based on sustainable raw materials. It provides lower volatility, water extractability, and plastisol viscosity. It offers improved compatibility, increased flex strength, melt processing and increased efficiency. Doverguard E-35 can be used as cost effective replacement of phosphates, phthalates and as an alternative to chlorinated paraffins.

KANATOL - 8M distributed by DKSH is di octyl maleate (DOM)-based internal plasticizer for PVA, styrene and acrylates. It is an unsaturated reactive ester. It reduces crystallinity and provide permanent internal plasticization.

• It readily copolymerizes with vinyl acetate and vinyl chloride.

KANATOL - 4M distributed by DKSH is di butyl maleate (dbm)-based internal plasticizer for PVA, styrene, PVC resin, methacrylic acid resins and acrylates. It increases the bindability and internal plasticization.

• It is used in co-monomers such as the vinyl acetate, vinyl chloride, vinylidene chloride.
• KANATOL - 4M has a shelf life of 12 months.
• It is available in Indonesia.

EPOXIDIZED SOYBEAN OIL C ST distributed by DKSH is mainly used as an auxiliary plasticizer and a processing stabilizer for PVC artificial leather, cable, wires, pellets, and other PVC products. It is available in Indonesia.

Paroil® 152 by Dover Chemical (ICC Industries) is a chlorinated normal paraffin. It is a non-flammable, non-corrosive, low volatile liquid at room temperature. It contains a stabilizer to maintain product integrity during transport and storage. Paroil® 152 is applied in machining, drawing, and stamping fluids.

Paroil® CW50AO by Dover Chemical (ICC Industries) is a chlorinated very long-chain alkane with a trace amount of stabilizer. It can be used as a plasticizer and flame retardant in rubber, PVC and PUF. Paroil® CW50AO offers low volatility, and very low odor.

Paroil® 140 by Dover Chemical (ICC Industries) is a long chain stabilized chlorinated alkane. It is typically preferred for drawing and stamping applications and offers excellent performance in aluminum machining. It shows high viscosity, gives additional lubricity, body and tenacity to lubricant films. Paroil® 140 can be used in conjunction with other chain length products.

Mesamoll® II by LANXESS is phthalate-free, general-purpose plasticizer with a significantly reduced product carbon footprint (PCF). It has good gelling behavior and exceptional saponification resistance. It is suitable for many types of polymers including PVC, polyurethanes, and rubber (NBR, NR, SBR, SBR/BR, IIR, CR). It has high plasticizing capacity.

• It exhibits good resistance towards weathering and is especially beneficial for articles that encounter water and alkalis.
• It offers low volatility, adequate thermal stability, and saponification resistance.
• It has low temperature flexibility and fire retardancy.
• It offers greater softness, elasticity, flame retardant properties or resistance to chemicals, extraction, and migration.
• It is characterized by a favorable di-electric property for high-frequency welding, leading to short cycle times.
• In the extrusion process, it is used in profiles for the automotive industry, blown film, jointing strip, tubing, weathering, and alkali-resistant structural profiles.
• In calendaring, it is designed for films for different applications such as electrical insulation, automotive industry, tunnel linings, and other construction applications.
• Mesamoll® II is suitable in injection molding (work boots and technical articles), dip molding (PVC gloves), rotational molding (vinyl articles made by rotational casting), and in the production of swimming pool covers, shower curtains.
