Anti-dripping Agents

Based on 30 products - Last update on the Jun 26, 2025

Anti-dripping agents are additives used to prevent the formation of molten droplets when plastic materials are exposed to high temperatures. These agents are often composed of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) or specialized polymers. Key features include their ability to enhance flame retardancy, improve safety by reducing the risk of fire spread, and maintain the integrity of the plastic material. Used in electrical components, automotive parts, and building materials.

Alternatives include flame retardants and smoke suppressants. Sub-types include pure powder, coated, and emulsion types anti-dripping agents.

Dyneon™ PA 5932

by 3M

Dyneon™ PA 5932 by 3M is perfluorocarbon resin. Used as an anti-drip in flame retardants. Has little or no effect on matrix material under routine processing conditions. Dyneon™ PA 5932 possesses broad chemical resistance and temperature range of use.

Lineplus PF 350-R

by Maflon

Polytetrafluoroethylene. Acts as a flame retardant or anti-dripping agent. Provides improved non-stick properties and possesses low coefficient of friction as well as low surface energy. It is a white micro-powder PTFE of low molecular weight produced by thermal degradation. It increases mold release and enhances tear resistance at elevated temperature. It improves wear resistance, deformation resistance and abrasion resistance. Used for thermoplastics and elastomers.

Shinepoly® SN3306

by Shine Polymer Technology

Shinepoly® SN3306 by Shine Polymer Technology is an acrylic copolymer encapsulated PTFE granular. Has very good dispersability and easy handling features. Especially applicable to PC, PS, ABS, PBT, PPO and their alloys needs anti-dripping property.
