Anti-dripping Agents

Anti-dripping agents are additives used to prevent the formation of molten droplets when plastic materials are exposed to high temperatures. These agents are often composed of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) or specialized polymers. Key features include their ability to enhance flame retardancy, improve safety by reducing the risk of fire spread, and maintain the integrity of the plastic material. Used in electrical components, automotive parts, and building materials. 

Alternatives include flame retardants and smoke suppressants. Sub-types include pure powder, coated, and emulsion types anti-dripping agents.
