What does Silken Stone deliver for PE packaging designers?
Silken Stone's core function is gloss inhibition. Where standard high-gloss effects produce a reflective, high-sheen surface, Silken Stone technology more restrained finish compared with traditional high-gloss effects. According to Ampacet, this restrained surface quality is what creates the marble effect. It is ideal for brands seeking elevated aesthetics in beauty, personal care and fabric care packaging.
The collection is available in six colorways: Marengo Grey, Portoro Black, Regal White, Bianco, Icy Celeste, and Arabescato.
Silken Stone is fully compatible with multilayer extrusion blow molding for PE resins. According to Ampacet, this allows OEMs to incorporate the marble-effect finish into standard production processes.
