EcoVadis Platinum secured by Cabot for sixth consecutive year

Cabot Corporation has received a platinum rating from EcoVadis for the sixth consecutive year, placing the company among the top 1% of organizations assessed by EcoVadis globally.
The platinum rating is the highest recognition available within the EcoVadis framework, which evaluates sustainability performance and management systems across four categories: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.

EcoVadis assessment scope and methodology
EcoVadis assesses the sustainability performance and management systems of more than 150,000 companies in over 185 countries across more than 250 industries. The assessment framework is built on international sustainability standards, including the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact, and ISO 26000.
In this year's assessment, Cabot Corporation achieved a five-point increase in its overall EcoVadis score, identified by the company as its largest year-over-year improvement to date with notable gains in the ethics category. The company also received an "outstanding" rating in both the environment and labor and human rights categories, the highest recognition EcoVadis awards within those areas.
