Many engineers and product designers are unfamiliar with SPS as an engineered semicrystalline polymer option. This webinar aims to change that by introducing this unique material and highlighting the advantages it offers as a high-melting-point, low-density engineered thermoplastic.

SPS can be a viable alternative to higher‑cost super‑engineered plastics with a thermal capability up to 260℃ DTUL with 40%GF. With its inherent low dielectric properties, strong chemical resistance, and a non‑polar structure that virtually eliminates moisture absorption, SPS provides a compelling performance profile. It is well suited for fine, detailed injection‑molded parts, offering high dimensional stability in both FD and TD mold‑plane directions for extremely low warpage.

Whether you wish to choose an available tailored Xarec™SPS compound or use SPS resin as a base alloy in your own formulation, our technical team is ready to support you for an optimized material selection, CAE mold‑flow analysis, and processing guidance.
