EDISTIR® R 540E by Versalis Eni Group is a polystyrene (HIPS) grade. It exhibits high stiffness, matt surface finish and good heat resistance. It is suitable for general extrusion of thick sheet and profiles. It is used in injection molding of shoe heels, industrial panels for appliances and buildings. EDISTIR® N 2560 by Versalis (Eni Group) is a general-purpose, high molecular weight polystyrene (GPPS) grade. It exhibits improved elasticity, high stiffness, good mechanical strength, thermal resistance, and toughness. It is designed for thermoforming, sheet extrusion in blend with conventional & clear high impact polystyrene (HIPS) and for injection molding of complex items. It is suitable for food contact. It is recommended for thermoformed food packaging articles such as drink & dairy cups, plates, trays & for molded CD boxes, domestic appliances (refrigerators), stationery, cutlery, and housewares. EDISTIR® N 2560 complies with ISO 1622-PS, G, 095-03, EU No 10/2011 and UL 94 HB Flame Rating (UL file E83071). EDISTIR® SR 550 by Versalis (Eni Group) is a high-impact, easy flow polystyrene (HIPS) grade with good elasticity at low temperatures. It is suitable for injection molding of large or complex parts with low thickness. It finds applications in toys, housewares and technical items. EDISTIR® RT 461F by Versalis Eni Group is a polystyrene high impact (HIPS) grade. It exhibits heat resistance and good stiffness. It is suitable for the injection molding process. It is recommended for improving the thermal performance of injection molded technical parts which are submitted to high temperature in service. it is used for manufacturing of computer cabinets, electrical appliances, ventilator housings, cabinets and back cover for TV sets. EDISTIR® RT 461F complies with ISO 2897-PS-I, M, 093-06-07-18, EU No 10/2011 and UL 94 HB Flame Rating (UL file E83071) and certified BSI 415/94 acc. IEC65-20-2 at 2.5 mm. EDISTIR® N 1782 by Versalis Eni Group is a general-purpose polystyrene (GPPS) grade. It exhibits good flow and high heat resistance. It shows improved clarity and stiffness in sheets. It is suitable for food contact. It is designed for thermoforming and extrusion applications. It is recommended for building/construction, thermoformed clear packaging in blends with polystyrene high impact (HIPS), direct gassing extrusion of heavy gage insulating boards (XPS) and in blend with a high concentration of clear styrene butadiene styrene copolymer (SBS) of sheets. EDISTIR® N 1782 complies with ISO 1622-PS, E, 105-06, EU No 10/2011 and UL 94 HB Flame Rating (UL file E83071). EDISTIR® ICE R 930 XP by Versalis Eni Group is an environmental stress cracking resistant polystyrene high impact (HIPS) grade. It is suitable for extrusion, thermoforming and injection molding. It improves wall thickness distribution in thermoforming, thus the original extruded sheet thickness can be optimized. It combines high impact strength with improved chemical resistance to oils, fats and chemical agents, such as detergents for both industrial and domestic use. It is designed for the fridge sector where hydrocarbons or freons are used as blowing agents for PU insulating foams. The improved mechanical performance guarantees high performance during the processing and production of the items, allowing a reduction in the thickness of the sheets. EDISTIR® ICE R 930 XP is recommended for inner liners and frames for refrigerators and packaging containers for fatty foods. EDISTIR® R 321P by Versalis (Eni Group) is a high impact polystyrene (HIPS) grade. Offers good flow and high stiffness. Suitable for processing by injection molding. Used in toys, stationery, small containers for packaging and refrigerator components. EDISTIR® R 321P is designed for household articles, disposable razors and technical items. EDISTIR® N 2982 by Versalis Eni Group is a general-purpose polystyrene (GPPS) grade. It exhibits very high flow, high heat resistance and low viscosity processing aid. It is designed for extrusion coating and compounding (modifier) applications. It is suitable for food contact. It is recommended for direct gassing extrusion of heavy gauge insulating boards (XPS) foamed by blowing agents alternative to CFC, HCFC and XPS insulation panels with improved environmental compatibility. It can be used as a masterbatch carrier, modifier for thermoplastic elastomers and rubbers such as shoe soles & cables. EDISTIR® N 2982 complies with ISO 1622-PS, E, 105-20, EU No 10/2011 and UL 94 HB Flame Rating (UL file E83071). EDISTIR® N 3840 by Versalis Eni Group is a general-purpose polystyrene (PS) grade. Offers easy flow and medium heat resistance. It belongs to the third generation of EDISTIR® GPPS. It is suggested in extrusion for glossy capping of HIPS sheets and for blending with HIPS or clear SBS for stiffer thermoformable sheets. It exhibits excellent processability in injection molding and is recommended for complex and thin-walled parts & fast molding cycles. Injected items will be brighter and neutral-colored in line with more sophisticated market needs. Designed for thermoformed disposable packaging and glossy sheets for industrial & fridge applications. EDISTIR® N 3840 is also applicable in injection molding of drinking cups, food & cosmetics containers, toys, houseware and medical articles (petri dishes). EDISTIR® N 1910 by Versalis Eni Group is a general-purpose polystyrene (GPPS) grade. It exhibits high flow and very fast-cycle molding. It is designed for thin-wall, multi-cavity injection molding of disposable items and sheet extrusion in the glossy capping of polystyrene high impact (HIPS) & in blend with HIPS and clear styrene butadiene styrene copolymer (SBS). It is suitable for food contact. It is recommended for the manufacturing of cups, packaging containers for foods, toys, medical articles and coffee stirrer. It can be used as a rubber modifier and carrier for masterbatches. EDISTIR® N 1910 complies with ISO 1622-PS, G, 085-20, EU No 10/2011 and UL 94 HB Flame Rating (UL file E83071).
