Exhibits elevated elasticity, good chemical, oil, fat, abrasion, hydrolysis, microbes and low temperature resistance. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Apilon™ 52 TL 62 is recommended for technical articles. Apilon™ 52 5011 by Trinseo is a durable, recyclable, fresabile, brushable, low density, ester based modified thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer (TPU-Ester) grade. It possesses softness, good processability and aesthetics (imitation of vulcanized rubber). It exhibits good chemical, oil, fat and abrasion resistance. It is processed by injection molding method. Apilon™ 52 5011 is recommended for footwear and technical articles. Apilon™ 52 TLE 40 by Trinseo is ether-based thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer grade.
