Butvar® B-98 by Eastman is a free-flowing polyvinyl butyral (PVB) thermoplastic powdered grade. Exhibits toughness, good adhesion and flexibility. Retains clarity of the coating used for wood, metal and plastic substrates and offers reactive hydroxyl sites for crosslinking with thermoset systems. Butvar® B-98 is recommended for binders for ceramics and structural composites, for inks and toners. Butvar® B-90 by Eastman is a free-flowing polyvinyl butyral (PVB) thermoplastic grade. It is available as powder and imparts broad solubility, good adhesion, toughness & flexibility. Retains clarity of the coating and offers reactive hydroxyl sites for crosslinking with thermoset. Butvar® B-90 is recommended for binders for adhesives and structural composites, for inks and toners. Suitable for wash primers and general metal and wood coatings. Butvar® B-79 by Eastman is a free-flowing polyvinyl butyral (PVB) thermoplastic powdered grade. Exhibits broad solubility range, good adhesion, toughness and flexibility. Retains clarity of the coating used for wood, metal and plastic substrates and offers reactive hydroxyl sites for crosslinking with thermoset systems. Butvar® B-79 is recommended for ceramic and metal oxide binders and higher solids lower volatile organic compounds (VOC) systems. Butvar® B-74 by Eastman is a free-flowing polyvinyl butyral (PVB) thermoplastic powdered grade. Retains clarity of the coating and offers reactive hydroxyl sites for crosslinking with thermoset systems. Imparts good adhesion, toughness and flexibility. Butvar® B-74 is recommended for binders and structural adhesives and wire enamel overcoats. Butvar® B-76 by Eastman is a free-flowing polyvinyl butyral (PVB) thermoplastic powdered grade. Imparts broad solubility, good adhesion, toughness and flexibility. Retains clarity of the coating used for wood, metal and plastic substrates and offers reactive hydroxyl sites for crosslinking with thermoset systems. Butvar® B-76 is recommended for ceramic and metal oxide binders for inks, toners and reprographic coatings. Butvar® B-72 by Eastman is a free-flowing polyvinyl butyral (PVB) thermoplastic powder grade. It exhibits good adhesion, toughness and flexibility. It retains clarity of the coating used for wood and metal substrates and offers reactive hydroxyl sites for crosslinking with thermoset systems.
