Bayblend® FR3040 R35 RE

Bayblend® FR3040 R35 RE by Covestro is a partially bio-circular, flame-retardant blend of polycarbonate & acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (PC+ABS). It contains 35% post-consumer PC recyclate for natural color. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. It is used in notebooks and thin wall applications. Bayblend® FR3040 R35 RE is ISCC PLUS certified and complies with UL 94 V-0 flame rating.

Bayblend® FR3010

Bayblend® FR3010 by Covestro is a flame-retardant, UV stable, polycarbonate & acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (PC+ABS) blend. It exhibits an excellent balance of properties such as rigidity, high dimensional accuracy and stability, excellent creep resistance, low moisture absorption and increased heat resistance. This grade offers high impact resistance, strength, improved chemical resistance and stress cracking behavior. It possesses good paintability and flowability. Bayblend® FR3010 provides low emissions and offers high stiffness, easy processing and high toughness-even at cold temperatures. It is processed by injection molding. Applications include medical devices such as insulin pen, patient monitoring devices and automated external defibrillator.

Texin® RxS285

Texin® RxS285 by Covestro is an aromatic polyester-based thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). It is used in medical applications include dental ligature, tubing and luers. It exhibits biocompatibility, outstanding abrasion resistance, impact strength, toughness and flexibility. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"> <li> It is suitable for processing by injection molding, extrusion and blow molding. </li> <li> Texin® RxS285 meets the requirements of the FDA-modified ISO 10993, Part 1 "Biological Evaluation of Medical Devices" tests with human tissue contact time of 30 days or less. </li></ul>
