Ultramid® A3HG5

Ultramid® A3HG5 by BASF is a polyamide 66 reinforced with 25% glass fiber. It possesses good elastic & dielectric properties, high dimensional stability, high creep strength and excellent sliding friction properties. It provides good toughness at low temperatures, hardness, high rigidity, high mechanical strength, stiffness, thermal stability, high heat-aging resistance, very good impact strength and good processability. It exhibits outstanding resistance to chemicals, hot lubricants and hot water, fuels, hydraulic fluids and coolants, refrigerants, dyes, paints, cleaners, degreasing agents, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and many other solvents. Ultramid® A3HG5 by BASF is resistant to corrosion, to aqueous solutions of salts and alkalis and to stress-crack formation compared to many amorphous plastics. It is processed by injection molding. It is suitable for machinery components and housings. It is also used for coil formers, bearing cages and electrically insulating parts.

Ultramid® A4H

Ultramid® A4H by BASF is a medium viscosity, unreinforced, polyamide 66 (PA 66) with high impact strength even at dry state. It possesses good elastic properties, high dimensional stability, high creep strength and excellent sliding friction properties. This grade provides good toughness at low temperatures, high rigidity, high mechanical strength, stiffness, thermal stability, very good impact strength and good processability. It exhibits outstanding resistance to chemicals, hot lubricants and hot water, fuels, hydraulic fluids and coolants, refrigerants, dyes, paints, cleaners, degreasing agents, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and many other solvents. It is resistant to high heat aging, corrosion, to aqueous solutions of salts and alkalis and to stress-crack formation compared to many amorphous plastics. It is processed by injection molding. Ultramid® A4H by BASF is suitable for highly stressed parts such as bearing cages, gear wheels, coil formers and cable connectors. It is compliant with EC Regulation 1907/2006 (REACH), RohS directive 2011/65/EC and WEEE directive 2002/96/EC.

Ultramid® A3HG6 HR

Ultramid® A3HG6 HR by BASF is a polyamide 66 reinforced with 30% glass fiber. It possesses good elastic properties, high dimensional stability, high creep strength and excellent sliding friction properties. This grade provides good toughness at low temperatures, hardness, high rigidity, high mechanical strength, stiffness, thermal stability, very good impact strength and good processability. This grade exhibits outstanding resistance to chemicals, hot lubricants & hot water, fuels, hydraulic fluids and coolants, refrigerants, dyes, paints, cleaners, degreasing agents, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and many other solvents. It is resistant to hydrolysis, corrosion, to aqueous solutions of salts and alkalis and to stress-crack formation compared to many amorphous plastics. Ultramid® A3HG6 HR by BASF is processed by injection molding. It is used for applications in automotive cooling circuit.

Ultramid® H33 L

Ultramid® H33 L by BASF is a thermoplastic polyamide (PI) with a high water permeability. It has high strength and hydrophilic properties that allows subsequent drying directly in the casing. Ultramid® H33 L is used in artificial casings in which sausages can be smoked and then dried.

Ultramid® Endure D3G7 BK20560 by BASF is a polyamide 66 grade reinforced with glass fiber. Offers long-term heat aging resistance up to 220ºC, excellent knit line and welding strength and superior flow over standard PA 66 grades. Possesses good elastic properties, dimensional stability, low tendency to creep and excellent sliding friction properties. Provides good toughness at low temperatures, high rigidity, high mechanical strength, stiffness, thermal stability, very good impact strength, good appearance and excellent processability. Exhibits outstanding resistance to chemicals, hot lubricants, hot water, fuels, hydraulic fluids and coolants, refrigerants, dyes, paints, cleaners, degreasing agents, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and many other solvents. Ultramid® Endure D3G7 BK20560 by BASF can be processed by extrusion and injection molding. It is an alternative to metal and suitable for all automotive parts exposed to higher thermal continuous use over a prolonged period of time. Applications include parts of the charge air duct such as intercooler end caps, resonators, intake manifolds, throttle valves, exhaust components or components near the exhaust gas ducts and turbo charger.

Ultramid® A3K

Ultramid® A3K by BASF is an unreinforced, easy flowing, polyamide 66 (PA66) grade. It displays fast processing properties. It is the material with the greatest hardness, rigidity, abrasion resistance and thermostability. It is processed by injection molding. Ultramid® A3K by BASF is suitable for electrical household appliances. It can also be used in terminal blocks, connectors, photovoltaics and automotive construction.
