Elastollan® 1190 A

Elastollan® 1190 A by BASF is a uncolored polyether-polyurethane elastomer based grade. It is a recyclable grade and offers good elastic recovery with resistance over a wide range of temperatures. It exhibits excellent abrasion, impact, wear, tear and kink resistance, oil and grease resistance and excellent resistance to hydrolysis and microbiological attack. It provides good flexibility at low temperature, high tensile strength, elasticity and good damping behavior. It exhibits excellent toughness, transparency, very good low temperature flexibility, hydrolytic stability and fungus resistance. It is processed by injection molding and extrusion method. It is applicable for industrial and automotive cable sheathing and jacketing, connectors, plugs and terminations, spiral tubing, ski-boot shells, ear tags, technical moldings, e.g. mining screens, railway pads, seals. Elastollan® 1190 A complies with FDA food contact section, book 21, section 177.2600 and also has NSF Standard 61 “Water Contact Material” certification..
