PRECITE® E ICF 30 black (7429) by Akro-Plastic is a medium viscosity polyethylene terephthalate (PET) with 30% recycled carbon fiber. It offers very high strength, toughness and high dimensional stability. AKROTEK® PK-VM

AKROTEK® PK-VM by Akro-Plastic is a semi-crystalline, high flow polyketone grade with carbon monoxide as a co-monomer. Possesses very high elasticity, low moisture absorption and the greatest yield strain (over 30%) compared to other semi-crystalline polymers. Provides high barrier properties, short cycle times and high coefficient of fiction. Exhibits good wear and excellent hydrolysis resistance, good welding behavior along with excellent chemical resistance against weak acids, unleaded gasoline, methanol, hydraulic fluid, jet fuel, calcium chloride, sodium chloride, alcohol, etc. Products manufactured have very low creep tendency and resist high stresses under strong chemical effects. Offers good flowability and crystallization rate as compared to polyamide 6 and 6.6. Can be processed by injection molding and film extrusion. Used for protective films and industrial applications such as gear wheels, containers, valves, dowel pins, journal bearings, hoses, cable ties, distributors, snap-hooks. AKROTEK® PK-VM is also suitable for automotive industry for fuel lines, fuel tank containers, filters, gear wheels, wheel covers, components for fuel pumps, wheel-speed sensors, quick connectors and wheel caps, and in electrical/electronic applications for connectors, switches, fuse holders, socket-outlets and housings.

AKROTEK® PEEK CF 40 9

AKROTEK® PEEK CF 40 9 by Akro-Plastic is a semi-crystalline PEEK (polyetheretherketone) grade reinforced with 40% carbon fiber. Provides a good combination of high impact strength, tensile strength and flexural strength along with high continuous operating temperature (above 342°C). Exhibits low outgassing rate, good radiation-, chemical-, creep-, heat- and hydrolysis-resistance and good barrier properties against liquids and gases. Shows high heat distortion temperature (above 300°C) and good resistance to aggressive substances such as acids, bases, glycol, solvents, ammonia, engine oil etc. Is processed by injection molding or extrusion and can be used in unfavorable wear and friction situations for applications requiring metal replacement and weight reduction. AKROTEK® PEEK CF 40 9 is used in aviation industry (interior trim, seat components, fasteners), in automotive industry (gearbox/clutch/chassis components), in renewable energy industry (heat pumps, pipe couplings, hose connectors). Also suitable for electric/electronic applications (cable coatings, contact strips, plug-in connectors), medical uses (orthopaedic accessories, laboratory equipment) and industrial components (pump/compressor components, sealing rings and transport systems).
