ABMcomposite, founded in 2014 and headquartered in the Tampere, Finland, develops bio-based composite materials and reinforced polymer systems. Its technology stack includes high performance biodegradable matrices, fiber reinforcement, compounding and precision molding for medical and industrial parts. ABMcomposite supplies filled and reinforced grades optimized for injection molding and thermoforming for the plastics market. ArcBiox™ G2 by ABMcomposite is an impact modified, biodegradable, unreinforced, PBS (polybutylene succinate) polymer. It is made from 50-80% renewable resources. ArcBiox™ BGF30–JA is recommended for automotive, consumer electronics and furniture industry.

ArcBiox™ ED4

ArcBiox™ ED4 by ABMcomposite is an unreinforced, biodegradable, blend of PC (Polycarbonate) and PLA (Polylactic acid) polymer. It contains 25% bio-based content. It is an alternative for unreinforced PC/ABS. It can be processed by injection-molding. It offers medium flow, very good impact properties, good flowability, good flatness and good dimensional stability. ArcBiox™ ED4 is recommended for automotive, consumer electronics and furniture industry.
