3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroplastic THV 500GZ by 3M is a melt-processable fluorothermoplastic containing tetrafluoroethylene, hexafluoropropylene and vinylidene fluoride. It shows good chemical resistance, low temperature processability, optical clarity and light transmission. Provides high transparency, high flexibility, bondability to itself and other substrates (for multi-layer constructions), low flammability, excellent performance with respect to dynamic testing and permeation resistance to fuels. Possesses excellent weatherability, thermal stability, UV stability, good anti-soiling properties and low refractive index. 3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroplastic THV 500GZ is suitable for processing by extrusion and injection molding. Processing profile allows co-processing with olefinic plastics and hydrocarbon elastomers. Used in extruded films, tubes, profiles, wire coatings and as a barrier layer in automotive fuel hoses and seals in chemical containment to protective layers in photovoltaic backsheets. 3M™ Dyneon™ Perfluoroelastomer PFE 40Z by 3M is a peroxide curable perfluoroelastomer (FFKM) grade. Exhibits improved acid-, water-, steam- and compression set resistance. Offers very broad chemical and thermal stability. Shows low metal ion content with low extractables in a wide range of chemicals. 3M™ Dyneon™ Perfluoroelastomer PFE 40Z is recommended for mechanical seals, valves, pumps, reactors, mixers, ink/printing systems, painting systems and rubber-metal bonding parts. 3M™ Dyneon™ PTFE Granules TF 1620 by 3M is a semi-free-flowing suspension PTFE produced by suspension polymerization. Is suitable for processing by compression molding. Provides good surface quality of molded articles, excellent chemical inertness, low friction behavior, good flame retardance, exceptional temperature resistance and reduced molding pressure. 3M™ Dyneon™ PTFE Granules TF 1620 exhibits good electrical and mechanical properties. Used in large compression molded sheets, iso-statically molded articles, shaped parts, thinner wall articles (like bellows etc.) and for skived films of > 200 µm. Meets ASTM D 4894 Type IV, Grade 2 classification. 3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroelastomer FC 2120 by 3M-Dyneon is a bisphenol cured, low viscosity fluoroelastomer. It contains 65.9% fluorine content. It is a di-polymer of vinylidene fluoride and hexafluoropropylene. Exhibits good temperature resistance and low permeation. It can be processed by injection molding, transfer molding, extrusion and calendering. Designed for hoses, profiles, transportation,? rubber, plastic,? electrical,? oil & gas,? defense,? CPI/ semicon and? mining applications. 3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroelastomer FC 2120 has a shelf life of 3 years. 3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroelastomer FC 2122 by 3M is a low viscosity fluoroelastomer. It is bisphenol cured with 65.9% fluorine content. It is a di-polymer of vinylidene fluoride and hexafluoropropylene. Exhibits excellent mold release, low permeation and very high elongation. Offers good temperature resistance and fast curing. It can be processed by injection molding, transfer molding, extrusion and calendering. Designed for O-rings & molded goods, transportation, rubber, plastic, electrical, oil & gas, defense, CPI/ semicon and mining applications. It has a shelf life of 3 years. 3M™ Dyneon™ PTFE Dispersion TF 5070GZ by 3M is a milky-white, water-based fluoropolymer dispersion reinforced with glass bubbles. The dispersion has a solid content of 50%. The spherical hydrophobic polymer particles have an average size of 120 nm and a density of 2.2 g/ml. Filler and color pigments can be added to the dispersion. Is suitable for coatings formulations. For coating metal surfaces various techniques such as spray coating, roller coating and silk-screen coating can be employed. Possesses large operating temperature range, small particle size and low settling tendency. 3M™ Dyneon™ PTFE Dispersion TF 5070GZ shows good chemical resistance and good non-stick properties. Due to its small particle size the dispersion is used as an additive to conventional PTFE dispersions so as to achieve a better packing density to the films. These improvements can lead to less corrosion, improved abrasion characteristics and increased shine. Used in non-stick coatings for manufacturing cookware and baking tins. Complies with FDA, 21CFR 177.1550 and German Federal Ministry of Health (BGA). 3M™ Dyneon™ PTFE Dispersion TF 5060GZ by 3M is a milky-white, water-based fluoropolymer dispersion with a solid content of 59%. The spherical hydrophobic polymer particles have an average size of 210 nm and a density of 2.2 g/ml. Is suitable for coatings or impregnating fabric structures. 3M™ Dyneon™ PTFE Dispersion TF 5060GZ provides high sintering temperature, thus glass and aramid fabrics are particularly suitable. Possesses large operating temperature range, good wetting properties, low settling tendency and high transparency. Shows good chemical resistance, excellent film formation and good non-stick properties. PTFE-coated fabrics, felts and packages are mainly used for products such as conveyor belts and baking foil in architecture and for filters or slide seal rings. Exhibits good mold filling behavior, free-flowing properties, improved particle coalescence, low permeability and good electrical and mechanical properties. Provides dense polymer structure with reduced void content, lower deformation under load and increased modulus of elasticity. Possesses good weldability, excellent chemical inertness, low friction, good flame retardance and high temperature resistance. 3M™ Dyneon™ TFM™ Modified PTFE Granules TFM 1600 is recommended for shaped parts, skived films of >500 µm, linings in the chemical processing industry (CPI), sealing and ball valve seat applications as well as ram-extruded semi-finished articles. Meets ASTM D 4894 Type III, Grade 2 classification. 3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroplastic PFA 6900GZ is a transparent, water-based perfluoroalkoxy (PFA) fluorothermoplastic polymer dispersion with a solid content of 50%. The spherical hydrophobic polymer particles have an average size of 200 nm. Filler and color pigments can be added to the dispersion. Is suitable for coating formulations. Possesses large operating temperature range, high shear stability and low settling tendency. Shows good chemical resistance, good non-stick properties and easy processability. 3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroplastic PFA 6900GZ can improve substrate adhesion by use of suitable primer systems, increase the corrosion protection and gloss of the coating. Used in non-stick coatings for manufacturing cookware and baking tins (used pure or as an additive mixed with PTFE dispersions). It is also used for corrosion protection in technical applications without any admixtures. Complies with FDA, 21CFR 177.1550 and German Federal Ministry of Health (BGA). 3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroplastic THV 221GZ by 3M-Dyneon is a melt-processable fluorothermoplastic containing tetrafluoroethylene, hexafluoropropylene and vinylidene fluoride. It is an E-beam crosslinkable grade. Suitable for processing by extrusion and injection molding. Processing profile allows co-processing with olefinic plastics and hydrocarbon elastomers. Provides high transparency, good flexibility, bondability, low flammability and balance of solvent processing. Possesses excellent weatherability, thermal stability, good anti-soiling properties and low refractive index. It allows welding with all common methods including high-frequency welding and low temperature fusion. 3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroplastic THV 221GZ is used in extruded films, tubes, profiles and wire coatings.
