HIFOR® LF1050 by Westlake is a butene linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) grade. Exhibits high stiffness and can be used at 100% or as blending stock with low density polyethylene (LDPE) or metallocene polyethylene (mPE). Offers great product breadth, flexibility and supply security from its three gas phase low pressure reactors. HIFOR® LF1050 is suitable for processing by cast film extrusion. Recommended for general purpose packaging applications. Complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 regulations.
